I just did an interview with Randy Paige of CBS channel 2 in LA, for his show, the Consumer Paige. We talked about converged consumer electronics. In other words, should consumers stick with separate cellphones, cameras, and MP3 players, or get devices that do it all? I used the Treo 650 as the example of ultimate convergence today, but recommended that most users stick with a smaller cameraphone for most uses, and carry an iPod if they want MP3s.
The interview should show up today, April 15, on the 5:30pm newscast. Click the photos for more.
Update: CBS2 posted the video. It's here. Click on "Consumer Paige: Gotta Have Gadgets."
